Before leaving for Easter Break, we were able to have our Lenten Retreat.  Recognizing that our Fifth Grade students have not had the many opportunities to take on leadership roles as in years past, we decided to try something different.  Inspired by our Station of the Cross silhouette windows, our Fifth graders practiced and recorded Living Stations of the Cross, silhouette style.  The students were very excited, not having been able to create the Nativity narrative during Christmas, they worked together beautifully, respectfully and reverently.  We loved how they collaborated with their teachers Miss Scorzella and Mrs. Ballmes to present each station.  The finished product was so moving we wanted to share it with everyone!  It is  posted here https://youtu.be/PCV9thwgoQg and on our social media sites (Facebook, Instagram and Twitter, we hope you can take a look!
