Teacher's Assistant

Mrs. Rose 

My name is Candice Rose, I have been the Pre-K 4 teacher's assistant with Heather Gaugler since 2020. Both of my daughters are alumni of St. Madeleine Sophie and now attend Notre-Dame Bishop Gibbons. I began my journey here at S.M.S. by volunteering for lunch as our oldest daughter started Kindergarten in 2013. Prior to being a full time assistant I worked as a substitute and an Art assistant.  I have a passion for helping all children reach their potential. I love seeing their eyes light up with excitment after mastering a new skill. The students that enter our classroom each year become part of our school family which makes the end of the school year  bitter sweet. Our friends leave our classroom prepared for their educational journey into elementary school with skills to be life long learners. We hope that our friends time in Pre-K with Mrs. Gaugler and I makes a lasting impression, taking not only a part of our hearts with them but all their new skills, friendships and memories.
