Miss Scorzella

Hello! My name is Rebecca Scorzella, and I am proud to be part of the St. Madeleine Sophie School family as a fifth-grade teacher. Having attended Catholic school for both my elementary and high school education, I am deeply committed to the values and close-knit community that define SMS.

Fifth grade is a pivotal year in a child’s educational journey, where we focus on ensuring students are academically prepared for middle school and developing the character skills necessary to be school leaders. This leadership journey is celebrated during a special church ceremony, where fifth graders receive their leadership pins—a proud symbol of their dedication and responsibility to our school community.

Throughout the year, we practice leadership daily, encouraging students to be positive role models in everything they do. We focus on developing skills that empower our students to embrace their roles as leaders and role models, while also forming lasting friendships and cherished memories.

I look forward to guiding your child through this transformative year, helping them create lasting memories, build strong friendships, and develop a lifelong connection to the SMS family, no matter where their future may lead.
